Another Military Aircraft Crashes In Port Harcourt

A Nigerian Air Force plane crashed at about 12 noon on Thursday, as it approached the military airbase along Aba Road in Port Harcourt.  No casualties have been reported.
LEADERSHIP gathered that the aircraft which was on training exercise, crashed as it attempted to land at the base.
Authorities of the Special Operations Group of the Nigerian Air Force in Port Harcourt, shut their doors immediately the incident occurred, and refused newsmen access to the crash site.
Recall that two pilots were killed last week, as Nigerian Army’s Alpha Jet fighter crashed some 37 miles (60 kilometers) west of Niamey, the capital of Nigerrepublic.
